Job Purpose

Due to ongoing expansion, Improve International is looking for a Full-time eLearning Content Developer to assist in the development, creation and support of our eLearning content. The successful candidate will have excellent prior experience of working with Articulate Storyline 360 and have awareness of other authoring tools such as Rise and H5P, with Photoshop, CSS and HTML knowledge desirable. The position will be based in the South West of the UK, ideally Swindon or Bristol. Work can be carried out remotely for some of the time, but it will be necessary to visit the Swindon office on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Build and administer Learning Activities and Resources using Articulate 360 suite of programmes, H5P and other suitable authoring programmes
  •  Develop online learning content for the company’s various programmes
  •  Take complex content and create engaging interactions using rapid authoring tools
  •  Work with content developers to produce engaging lessons and interactions
  •  Support the uploading and embedding of multimedia content
  •  Take an active interest in new eLearning initiatives, such as H5P and AR/VR technologies
  •  Support the building and administration of Moodle courses
  •  Work as part of a team and meet agreed deadlines
  •  Undertake such other tasks as may reasonably be required

Qualifications and experience

  •  Excellent working knowledge of Articulate 360 suite of programmes, especially Storyline
  •  Good working knowledge of H5P and other authoring programmes preferable
  •  Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is desirable
  •  Knowledge of SCORM packages and LMS integration is desirable
  •  Experience of working with Moodle Mobile (App and/or Theme) is desirable
  •  Knowledge of PHP within the Moodle environment is desirable
  •  Use of project management software is desirable

Personal attributes/characteristics

  •  A good level of written and verbal English (mandatory)
  •  Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and to agreed deadlines
  •  Good level of computer literacy
