Job Purpose                                                      

Benchmark Holdings Plc is recruiting a Finance Systems Manager to drive continuous improvement of the group’s financial systems.  The Finance Systems Manager will work closely with the group finance team to improve systems, processes and policies.  This role will provide exposure to best-in-class technology in a dynamic PLC environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of the group’s financial systems including SAP Business ByDesign, OneStream and Concur
  • Build a detailed knowledge of finance systems capability in order to provide recommendations on how they can add value for the Finance department
  • Manage the plan for all major change projects and improvement initiatives as they relate to finance systems.
  • Take responsibility for all ongoing project activity including OneStream driver-based planning and working capital forecasting
  • Manage relationships with global 3rd party vendors and partners ensuring services and support are provided to agreed service levels
  • Manage and develop integrations between financial applications
  • Lead the testing process for upgrades ensuring adverse business impact is avoided
  • Work closely with the internal IT team to improve user provisioning and security
  • Manage end user training and support
  • Assist with the development of reports from financial systems
  • Work with the Data Controller to ensure compliance with all GDPR regulation
  • Line management responsibility for a Finance Systems Analyst

Qualifications and experience

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience
  • A detailed understanding of transaction processing, financial reporting and consolidation
  • Knowledge of ERP and EPM technology preferably within a multi-national organisation
  • Team leadership and development
